Hi, my name is Stephen Kawamae (pronounced Steven).  I am the Web Admin.  I work as one of the part-time range attendants at KHSC.  I started here at KHSC officially in November of 1994.  Prior to that, I worked many years (for free) as the Range Safety Officer on the Handgun Metallic Silhouette range and served several years as club officer for the Hawaii Metallic Silhouette Shooters Association.  Since 1989, I've maintained National Rifle Association instructor certifications in Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun, Home Defense, Personal Protection and hold an NRA Range Safety Officer certification.  The purpose of this web site is to communicate what KHSC is about and provide the necessary information for everyone to enjoy the shooting sports.
